radiation

Saw the radiation oncologist this morning. He is recommending 5 weeks of daily radiation. Says that this will take the risk of recurrence at this location from 25 - 30% to 4%. I will have another CT tomorrow and then will probably begin radiation next week.

    I know you're probably more than ready to be done. What an awesome opportunity to reduce your chances. I am taking an oral drug for 5years to reduce my chances for reocurrence. Three more years to go. God bless you!!! May God continue to give you strength for your journey. Amy Ahrens
